The AAWP Foundation's current project is produce a series of 12 how-to programs
that will be presented at various on-site locations, along with the production
of videos of those programs for Americans who were unable to attend. Workshops
will be offered at various local locations and will include topics such as:
- How to buy a car
- How to write a resume
- How to save for retirement
- How to balance a checkbook
- How to budget effectively
- How to purchase a house
The Foundation is looking to increase the understanding among students and
adults about financial and social issues that are not readily discussed in
schooling -- basic information that will improve these Americans’ lives, but is
not readily available in one place.
